R-II Closes On Sale Of Vacant Lot In Christison Addition

Chillicothe R-II Board President Lindy Chapman (right), signed documents on Wednesday, June 15, at Staton Abstract & Title Co., to close the sale of a vacant lot owned by the District in the Christison Addition. The Board voted unanimously to sell the lot to Justin Tucker, of Chillicothe, during a special meeting held May 12. The sale price of the lot was $30,000, less commission and fees and the total amount deposited in the District’s Capital Improvements Fund was $27,463.00

Deputy West Joins LCSO

Deputy Taylor West joined the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on May 23 and is assigned badge #877. Sheriff Steve Cox said, “Deputy West is very well educated, has great experience and will be an outstanding asset for the LCSO and community.” West was born in Independence, in 1995 and has her roots planted where she was raised in Wellington.
