NEW YORK (AP) — What’s the price of peace? That question could be partially answered Monday night when Russian journalist Dmitry Muratov auctions off his Nobel Peace Prize medal. The proceeds will go directly to UNICEF in its efforts to help children displaced by the war in Ukraine.
Chillicothe R-II Board President Lindy Chapman (right), signed documents on Wednesday, June 15, at Staton Abstract & Title Co., to close the sale of a vacant lot owned by the District in the Christison Addition. The Board voted unanimously to sell the lot to Justin Tucker, of Chillicothe, during a special meeting held May 12. The sale price of the lot was $30,000, less commission and fees and the total amount deposited in the District’s Capital Improvements Fund was $27,463.00
