Governor Parson Grants 18 Pardons

For the month of May 2022, Governor Mike Parson granted 18 pardons pursuant to Article IV, Section 7 of the Constitution of the State of Missouri. Official documents have been filed with the appropriate government agencies and have been sent to the individuals. Families have been or are in the process of being notified.

C-T PHONE NUMBER CHANGE

The phone number for the Constitution-Tribune has changed due to the change in ownership late last year and the opening of a new office next week. The office will be reached now at 660-776-9400 or by Fax at 660-776-9200. The new office will open Monday and will be located at 516 Washington St.

The True Blue Club met Thursday, May 19, in the home of Dorothy Crookshanks with Cheryl Maggart as assistant hostess. Devotion was several items about mothers. Roll call was “my most memorable time with my mother.” Hostess gift and game prizes were won by Janet Meek. A card was sent to Connie Sallee. Next meeting will be lunch at a Chillicothe restaurant on June 16.

GRVCO to host Summer Concert on June 18

The Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra (GRVCO) will present its annual Summer Concert, “We Remember,” at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 18, in the Trenton R-IX Performing Arts Center. The program will be dedicated to Buddy Hannaford. A variety of music will be performed. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., following the dress rehearsal.
