An egg-cellent time was had at Simpson Park Saturday morning during the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Department and Grand River Area Family YMCA. .

Fire leads to death

On Friday night at about 6:15 p.m., the Chillicothe Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 1015 Polk St. with possible entrapment, according to a press release from Chilicothe Frie Chief Eric Reeter.

Easter Lay Services The Pre-Easter Lay Services sponsored by the Chillicothe Ministerial Alliance take begin at 7 a.m., with a fellowship, services begin at 7:15 a.m., and will last about 30 minutes. A different church will conduct the service each day.

Correction: CMU hires

On April 5 during a closed session meeting the Chillicothe Board of Public Works approved the hiring of Tad Corbin and Mark Reagin by a vote of 3-0. Corbin was hired as a Wastewater Plant Operator/Maintenance employee and Reagin as an Underground Facilities Crewmember.
