A man was arrested Sunday night after a Chillicothe Police Officer tried to conduct a traffic stop and the 37-year-old man fled from authorities. According to a press release from Sergeant Jeremy Stephens at about 10:16 p.m., the night of March 6, during inclement weather, officers conducted a traffic stop near Mitchell Road and Corporate Drive, but the vehicle continued to the area of the 600 block of Corporate Drive.

Two public hearings will be held in regards to a request before the Livingston County Commission for a conditional use permit for a vacation rental in an Agricultural Zone. The Livingston County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold the first hearing at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, March 22 in the Associate Court room at the Livingston County Courthouse.

A new community education course at North Central Missouri College (NCMC) is now enrolling participants for Microsoft Office Fundamentals. The six-week, non-credit course is open to members of the public, enrollees do not need to be NCMC students. Microsoft Office Fundamentals will be held on Mondays from 6-8 p.m. beginning March 28 - May 2 on the NCMC Main Campus in Hoffman Hall 101 in Trenton.
