Annual report finds jump in sleep-related infant suffocation and fentanyl related child fatalities
An alarming trend in child fatalities related to sleep related infant suffocation and fentanyl poisoning has been identified in the Missouri Child Fatality Review Program (CFRP) Annual Report for 2022.In 2022, of all infants who died from non-medical causes, 74% were related to the infant’s sleep environment.

77th Annual Chillicothe Chamber Holiday Parade Results – 2023Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree
With just over 65 entries, the 77th Annual Holiday Parade “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” sponsored by HyVee, Sonoco, United Country Graham Agency, Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau, McCoy Samples Mattingly Dental Clinic, Woody’s Automotive Group & Northwest Health Chillicothe, was carried out in true community tradition.According to a press release from the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Marshal this year was Pam Jarding.
