Mayor Recommends Community Development Study Imperative for City Growth

CHILLICOTHE - The Board of Public Works for the City of Chillicothe received a request from Terry Rumery, economic developer in the Industrial and Community Development department for the city, for approximately $39,500 to conduct three community studies: a labor study, a housing study, and a retail study. The funding would be divided among the City of Chillicothe, Chillicothe Municipal Utilities and CDI. It was noted that each study is crucial for attracting new businesses and industry to the area.
