Hometown Heroes honored

Hometown Heroes is a way to honor our local Veterans of Livingston County. Banners featuring Veterans names, pictures and titles will be displayed on Washington street from mid-May to mid-November for two years. These banners are sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Whether the Veterans did war time or not, they are eligible for this program, with the only qualifications being the individual must be a Livingston County resident, or live here during their time of enlistment, or at least 5 years prior to time of filling out the program application. The program is ongoing, and applications are available on a first come first serve basis for those interested in being a featured Hometown Hero.
