Many people make financial New Year’s resolutions, such as reducing their debts or contributing more to their retirement accounts — both of which are certainly worthy goals. But among those who planned to make a financial resolution for 2023, the primary reason was the desire to build an emergency savings fund, according to a December 2022 study by research firm Morning Consult.

SUSANNA CIRCLE SILENT AUCTION THIS FRIDAY The Susanna Circle of the Chillicothe United Methodist Church will have a Silent Auction on Friday, March 31 in the Christian Life Center from 10 to 11 a.m. Tickets are available from any Circle member, at the door and the church office.

P.E.O. hosts March 16 meeting

On March 16, 2023 Chapter T P.E.O. held its regular business meeting at Joyful Seasons. The program was presented by Sophie Chambers who is a gifted and talented teacher and instructional coach for the Chillicothe RII School District. In 2015 Sophie received a Program for Continuing Education grant through Chapter T. During her program Thursday evening Sophie shared how this grant helped her return to school to get her specialist in Gifted and Talented Education.
