18th Annual NCMC Foundation sponsored High School Holiday Hoops tips-off Dec.17

The countdown is on for the 18th annual North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Foundation sponsored High School Holiday Hoops, and the schedule will be announced soon! The 2022 edition of Holiday Hoops will tip off at the Ketcham Community Center on the North Central Missouri College Campus in Trenton, with a total of 80 teams representing 44 Missouri high schools and Waukee Northwest in Iowa.

A Day to Honor Service

closed on Friday, Nov. 11, and the post office won’t deliver mail. Most schools will be open, but several have special events scheduled. As much as I would like to assume everyone will immediately recognize that date as Veterans Day, I know that’s probably not the case, and that concerns me.

Northwest Missouri Workforce Development Board Receives Missouri Heroes Connect Program Funding

The Northwest Missouri Workforce Development Board has received funding through the state of Missouri’s Missouri Heroes Connect Program. This program is established to assist veterans, military service members, and spouses to address immediate needs and employment. This program is funded using the Missouri Office of Workforce Development’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Dislocated Worker funds, as appropriated by the legislature of the State of Missouri.
