Dennis R. Boyd

Dennis R. Boyd, age 75 of Kimball, MN passed peacefully in his sleep on April 29, 2022. Born September 23, 1946, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Childhood years were in Missouri and teenage years in Minnesota. Dennis resided in Minneapolis, MN, served in the United States Navy and worked twenty-seven years at the FMC corporation in Fridley, MN. Preceded in death by father James H. Boyd; mother Pauline (Stoner) Jett; brother Jim; and sisters Robin, Marilyn, and Karen. Dennis was the father to Robert, Russell, Rochelle, and Richard and proud grandparent to three grandchildren. Survived by sisters Sue, Lisa, Sherry, and Becky; and brothers Joseph, and Richard. Special thanks to the staff of Savanna Prairie for the care provided. He will be laid to rest at May Cemetery, Chula, Missouri. Arrangements by Simple Cremation.

Eugene “Gene” Joseph Saale Jr

Eugene was born September 30, 1933, in Chillicothe, Missouri, to parents Eugene Joseph Saale Sr and Margaret Weaver. He graduated high school as valedictorian at St. Joseph Academy of Chillicothe in 1951, and graduated with honors at Trenton Junior College in 1953. He studied photojournalism for a year at University of Missouri - Columbia before joining the United States Army. He served at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, for two years, where he worked in the Officers’ Club and published the base newspaper. He then moved back home and served in the Army Active Reserves for another two years. He worked in housing construction and operated Eugene Saale Vending for several years. He later went to work for Indian Hills for several years following the passing of his wife, Norma Jean.

Louis Byrd, 95, of Kansas City, MO passed away April 13, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospice House with the loving support of his family and friends. A Visitation, Rosary, and Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 5814 Euclid Ave, Kansas City, MO 64130-3336, with burial at Mt.
