Southwest/T-A Baseball Rallies Big Late, Gets First ’22 Win in Ninth

LUDLOW — Tina-Avalon’s Tanner Singer’s 2-runs double in the bottom of the seventh inning erased a 11-9 Bosworth/Hale lead and forced extra innings, eventually setting up Owen Oesch’s second single of the game as a walk-off winner as the Southwest Livingston/ Tina-Avalon baseball Wildcats took a 12-11 Carroll-Livingston Activity Association victory – their first of the season after seven losses – at Ludlow Lions Field April 14.

Slow Start Lead to Baseball Hornets’ Home Loss

The right combination remains elusive for this season’s Chillicothe High School baseball Hornets. Whether runs have been scarce or plentiful, whether they’ve started or finished games fast or slow, or had a steady gamelong performance, or whether they’ve defended well or poorly, the results have been frustrating more often than not, including at home last Thursday when they fell to Cameron 6-3 in Midland Empire Conference play.
