In their first instances of playing an opponent on its court thus far this sea son, the undefeated Lady Hornets shut out all but one Trenton Lady Bulldog in their fifth victory of the new campaign, winning 48-25, before the Hornets rode a 35-2 run in one 10:50 first-half stretch to a 75-35 trouncing of the winless ’Dogs, the CHS boys’ third win in succession after starting the year with back-to-back setbacks.
The Week 14 slate Sunday started slowly, with blowouts and games that many expected to have drama falling flat. But a couple of overtime finishes brought the week back to life.

Junior Corbin Rodenberg was chosen to the Missouri Football Coaches Association’s Class 3 second team as a linebacker and classmate Griff Bonderer as a punter.
