It didn’t take very long before a new Missouri state record fish was recorded for 2024.Jeffrey Needles of Lake Lotawana already has had a yellow perch officially weighed and certified as a new state record – a 12-ounces perch taken by throwline from (you guessed it) Lake Lotawana in Jackson County during Needles’ first fishing expedition of 2024.It was his second perch caught that day.
