SW Livingston Boys Take Fifth (Straight)

TRENTON — Having had a pre-Christmas outing against Polo there canceled, due to the cold/snow, Southwest Livingston’s Wildcats seized their other planned appearance in the North Central Missouri College Foundation’s “High School Holiday Hoops” shootout this past Tuesday to carry a 5-games winning streak into the 2023 portion of their season.

Brookfield, Marceline to Join Grand River Conference

Fifty years later, their fans can rejoice and celebrate. The Beatles finally are reuniting! What’s that? Dead? Two of them? Guess that means area high school sports fans will have to settle for the original 5-members North Central Missouri Conference – apparently not extinct, but merely long dormant – “getting the band back together,” albeit minus one member and with some friends added on.

CHS Hoops Teams Play at Trenton Tomorrow

Both of them solid through the first six weeks of their seasons, but also sensing their respective records could be better, the Chillicothe High School basketball Lady Hornets and Hornets will participate in the 18th-annual North Central Missouri College Foundation-hosted “High School Holiday Hoops” shootout at NCMC’s Ketcham Community Center tomorrow with a chance to generate momentum for the first month of 2023. Both the girls (5-2) and boys (3-3) will take on Milan in 4:30 and 6 p.m.
