Sure, the forced sale of the Los Angeles Clippers made Sterling even richer, but it sent a clear signal that such behavior would not be tolerated, even from the guys with the biggest checkbooks.
Matthew Stafford downplayed the significance of his elbow injury after demonstrating just how little it’s holding him back in practice with the Los Angeles Rams. Stafford participated extensively in the Rams’ latest workout at UC Irvine on Saturday, making deep throws and building chemistry with his teammates in what was likely his most extensive work of training camp.
Wasting nary a minute to get their new seasons going, members of the Chillicothe High School cross country running teams and tennis Lady Hornets were at Daryl Danner Memorial Park when the midnight hour arrived Monday, conducting their first practices of the 2022 season on the first permissible day. About 16 prospective members of new head coach Sophie Chambers’ initial tennis squad were on hand, with about the same number of cross country running Hornets and Lady Hornets.
