With still two games head to head with current third-place team Carroll, Iowa, and three with Des Moines, Iowa, the club directly ahead of them in the league’s North Division standings, the Mudcats could console themselves with the assertion that, if they could manage to stay relatively close to both while facing other foes, they’d have a chance to overtake the Hawkeye State squads in direct showdowns.
The Missouri Department of Conservation again is offering managed deer hunts this fall at more than 100 locations throughout the state. They are accepting online applications for these hunts now, with a deadline of July 31.
