Cardinals’ Flaherty Falters Again in Latest ‘Comeback’ Start

ST. MDC Offering Deer Management Assistance

Missouri outdoors people are proud of their whitetail deer population that was re-established back in the 1950s after almost disappearing due to over-hunting and changes in land use. About 10 years ago, an EHD epidemic in many areas throughout the state created concern and the Missouri Department of Conservation took action to reduce the generous number of antlerless deer hunting permits allowed to Missouri hunters.
