Allowing 20 baserunners and generating only 13 probably wouldn’t have been considered a propitious blueprint for the Chillicothe Mudcats to produce their first triumph of 2022 Tuesday night when they hosted the defending MINK League champion St. Joseph Mustangs.
PARIS (AP) — Iga Swiatek’s winning streak began to feel like a burden, she said, with all of the attention it gained as it grew, all of the pressure to keep it going, especially with a Grand Slam title in the offing.
Morrisville angler Tim Stillings was trotlining for catfish in the Sac River last month when he pulled in a 7-pounds, 8-ounces walleye on May 16. The team’s season will run through late July with nearly two dozen home games for local and area fans of all ages to enjoy. (BUTCH SHAFFER/C-T PHOTOS)

Those guys and gals keep the industry humming along and generate huge amounts of funding for conservation. It’s just not for me. I’ll take a cane pole and crickets.
