Despite the efforts of multiple Grundy County R-5/Newtown-Harris defenders, Hale/Bosworth basketball Cardinal Kaden Adams gets set to release a lane shot which would give him 13 points in the first period of the teams' championship semifinal in the 2025 Meadville Invitational tournament Jan. 30. Adams wasn't finished either, netting another deuce before the quarter ended to account for all 15 of the Cardinals' points – he also had three treys – in the stanza.
