Hale/Bosworth Cardinals senior forward Tristian Crose fires a second-half shot from the right corner before a Higbee defender can get there to deny the shot during last Thursday’s championship-semifinal game in the 2024 Carroll-Livingston Activity Association high school basketball tournament last Thursday. Crose amazingly hit four such shots in a row in the first several minutes of the third quarter to lead a Cardinals 26-points rally from a halftime deficit to a 52-51 lead over top-seeded Higbee after three periods. Crose finished the game with six treys and 24 points, but Higbee regained control of the game in the last eight minutes and won, 82-67. (PAUL STURM/C-T PHOTO)
