With both qualifying for the Class 2 state tournament and playing well there, as well as being separated by only 17 total strokes over the course of playing virtually 200 holes in competition during the 2022 season, Chillicothe High School golf Lady Hornets seniors Izzie Montgomery, left, and Skyler Powers were named as co-recipients of the annual Roger Cranmer Memorial Award for this past season, it was announced at the team’s recent postseason get-together. The award is presented by the late local golf enthusiast’s family to the top player on each fall’s Lady Hornets team, as well as to the top Hornet during the boys’ season each spring.
