Led by Thompson’s individual win and Evans’ second-place finish, the CHS boys came with seven points of defeating Kansas City: St. Michael the Archangel, a future district-meet rival that CHS coach Jennifer Dickson reports is considered by some to be the best Class 3 squad in the state this year.
