Donna M. Wentworth, age 96, passed away on November 14, 2021, at Grand Island, NE.

She was born in Cherokee, IA on November 16, 1924, to Webb & Belle (Thompson) Waddell. She grew up in Cherokee and Aurelia, IA and graduated from Aurelia High School in 1943. On March 31, 1946, she married Ted Wentworth at Las Cruces, NM. As a couple, they resided in Cherokee and had three children: a son David, and two daughters, Jodie and Kathy. During the 1950’s the family moved to Kirkwood, MO and then to Chillicothe, MO. In 1967, Donna was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and spent many years faithfully helping others learn about the Bible. She had many dear friends in Chillicothe that she truly cherished. In 2014, she moved to Grand Island, NE to be closer to family.

Donna is survived by her children: David (Coleen) Wentworth of Overland Park, KS., Jodie Lee of Grand Island, NE., two grandsons: Caleb Cassel, Seth (Meghan) Cassel, and three great grandchildren: Parker Hunt, Alyvea Cassel, and Lennon Cassel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother Mildred, her husband Ted, an infant daughter Kathy, three siblings: Marcellus, Shirley, and Lyle, son-in-law Duane Cassel, and one grandson Michael Sean Wentworth.
