Elks Ready to Tee Up for Fundraiser

Golfers across the area are gearing up for the 28th Annual Chillicothe Elks #656 Golf Tournament, set for July 26, 2025, at Green Hills Golf Course. This highly-anticipated event brings the community together for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, all while raising funds to benefit youth programs and veterans.

Teams of four can enter the tournament for $350 and it includes skins. Registration includes a round of golf, free range balls, gift bags, and BBQ and beverages throughout the course. The tournament will feature two shotgun starts at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., plus there are options for players age 65 and older to participate from senior tees. Additionally, players will have a chance to win a brand-new car, courtesy of Max Curnow Chevrolet for a hole in one.

The excitement kicks off early with Calcutta Fun Night on Friday, July 25 at the Elks Lodge starting at 8 p.m. Organizers note that spots are filling quickly, and tee times are confirmed only with payment. Registration forms are available at the Elks Lodge and the golf course, or by mailing the entry fee to the Chillicothe Elks Lodge at P.O. Box 377, Chillicothe, MO 64601. Tee times can also be secured by contacting Margie Albertson at 660-247-5111.

Whether in it for the competition or for the causes it supports, this tournament promises a fun day on the greens while giving back to meaningful causes.
