Evans, Helton Lightning Bolts From Blue Electrify in District

Junior Hope Helton of the Chillicothe High School track-and-field Lady Hornets broke her year-old CHS record in winning the javelin throw at last Saturday’s Class 3 District 16 meet in Chillicothe. Her first and best attempt of the competition carried exactly 122’ (37.2 meters), surpassing her record of 113’1” set in last year’s district meet.
