Sophomore Luke Thompson of the Chillicothe High School cross-country running Hornets has a sizable lead in the varsity boys’ race in Tuesday’s Chillicothe Invitational meet in Simpson Park. Thompson went on to win the 5-kilometers race on a hot evening with teammates Laik Graham and Cain Evans – visible in the background in the top right corner of the photo – taking second and third, respectively.
