Five members of the Chillicothe High School wrestling Hornets – from left, Bryce Dominique, Brock Miller, Cayden Larson, Brody Cairns, and Carter Shipers – will compete in the 2022-23 Class 2 state tournament at Columbia today and possibly tomorrow as a result of their top-4 finishes in their respective weight divisions in last weekend’s District 4 tournament at Excelsior Springs. Larson goes as the 157-pounds district champion, while Dominique took second at 144, Miller and Shipers were third at 190 and 113, respectively, and Cairns placed fourth at175.
