With a win by fall over a Marshall opponent last week (Feb. 13), senior Bo Smith of the 2024-25 Chillicothe High School wrestling Hornets broke Aaron Baker’s program record for bouts won in a career with No. 169. Seen in action at home earlier this month, Smith already held the single-season record for wins with 53 last season. Still undefeated this season, he’ll look to reach 170 and beyond tonight and tomorrow in the Class 2 district tournament at Excelsior Springs and, if able to place in the top-4 at district (as expected), during next week’s state tournament.
