The Quarterly Mayor’s Coffee that was postponed last month until May will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at the Rotary Club shelter house in Simpson Park, according to a news announcement from city hall.

The Quarterly Mayor’s Coffee that was postponed last month until May will be held on Wednesday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at the Rotary Club shelter house in Simpson Park, according to a news announcement from city hall. Guest speakers will be Parks and Recreation Director Josh Norris and Craig Sager, general manager of Green Hill Golf Course. City Administrator Ike Holland and Mayor Chuck Haney also will be present. Norris will speak on current park projects, including some already completed; others planned for this summer at Danner Park and Shaffer Park as well as for the future years. Sager will address recent improvements to the golf course as well as new equipment just recently purchased; an upcoming new major golf tournament that is coming to Chillicothe; league golf and other matters. The Mayor’s Quarterly Coffee is open to the public and persons are encouraged to attend and learn more about their city and its departments as well as having the opportunity to make comments to the city leaders as well as to ask questions to those appearing on the program.Refreshments will be provided. If weather interferes the program will be moved to Green Hills Golf Course clubhouse.
