Main Street Chillicothe is hosting a night of art, wine and music this Friday, May 20, in downtown Chillicothe. Starting at 4 p.m. at the Commerce Center will begin the Wine Walk. For $15, attendees will receive a wine glass and map to take to participating merchants and receive a sample of Missouri wine and appetizers. The Cultural Corner Art Guild & Gallery’s Art Walk will be on the same route. These two events end at 8 p.m. Attendees are invited to stay downtown for the first free 2016 Tunes Under the Moon summer concert series at 7 p.m. in Silver Moon Plaza. Friday night’s performance will be Irish Rock Band, Chance the Arm. One of the main things that defines Chance the Arm is versatility. Capable of playing many styles, and many instruments, this band brings a fresh twist to an ever-popular Irish musical genre. “We are very excited to offer a fun night in downtown Chillicothe with Art, Wine, and free music. Irish Rock is something we have not had before at our concerts and we are thrilled to bring something fun and new to downtown,” said Micah Landes, Main Street Chillicothe executive director. Hy-Vee will have the grill going and Jerseys Sports Grill will also be set up in Silver Moon Plaza at 6 p.m. with a cash bar.
