A trial date has been set for a Chillicothe woman who was charged in June with involuntary manslaughter after allegedly providing Oxycodone to another woman knowing she intended to abuse the drug. Rena Ilene Boley, 54, was in Livingston County Circuit Court on Thursday. She is being held on $50,000 bond and is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the April 2016 death of Jennifer Robin Daniel, 40, of Chillicothe. According to the probable cause statement filed with Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren, Boley and Daniel were taking Oxycodone pills together, with the pills having been provided by Boley. Boley also allegedly put morphine in Daniel’s mouth after she had passed out. On June 7, the autopsy findings showed Oxycodone intoxication. The report also showed the factors are suggestive of drug overdose. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Nov. 15 and the jury trial date has been scheduled for Dec. 8-9. Boley is incarcerated at the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.
