The University of Missouri Extension Office for Livingston County is now located at 511 Elm Street. Longtime residents may remember the office as being the former Greenhills Community Action Agency, and prior to that, the McCoy Dental Clinic.
The Livingston County Extension Council made the decision to purchase the building after careful consideration of available options and past locations of the extension office. After several office relocations in prior years, the council felt that purchasing a building
would allow staff members to better serve citizens.
"We feel that this move provides the citizens of Livingston County easier accessibility to the resources the extension office provides," said Brenda Kerr, extension council chair.
