Bishop Hogan Memorial School celebrates Catholic Schools Week.
This week is the national celebration of Catholic Schools Week. Bishop Hogan Memorial School is ae celebrating the important role that Catholic Schools play in shaping our next generation, both spiritually and academically. The theme this year is Catholic Schools: Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed!
Learning about God and our discipleship, learning to reach for the highest standards, serving
others and our community, leading in our faith and being a good example to others, and paving
the way for a successful path to heaven is what we strive for at Bishop Hogan Memorial School!
The three components of faith, academics, and service are constantly linked together as we
work to develop the whole child and help them succeed with qualities that will serve them well
throughout their lives.
A central part of Catholic education is learning the importance of service to others. When
students take part in service activities, they demonstrate the values and faith they gain through
Catholic education and learn how to make the world a better place. Some of our service projects
throughout the year are: students visiting nursing homes, participating in Pennies for Patients
collection, hosting the American Red Cross Blood Drive, serving lunch at the House of Prayer,
collecting money to purchase audio books for the Chillicothe Correctional Center, having a
monthly food drive, picking up trash around the neighborhood, and making cards for the sick
Bishop Hogan Memorial School is open to families of all denominations, providing an
opportunity for children in pre-K through 8th grade to learn in a Christ-centered environment.
Bishop Hogan offers a faith-based and rigorous educational curriculum, resulting in graduates
who exhibit both leadership skill and high academic achievement. For more information, you
