Chillicothe Fire Department offered mutual aid during a house fire in Hale.

At 9:41 a.m., on Feb. 22, the Chillicothe Fire Department, (CFD) responded to a request for mutual aid at a house fire in Hale.

Chillicothe Fire Department Cpt. Derrick Allen said upon their arrival at 9:53 a.m., the home located at 22124 Highway 65 was fully engulfed in flames. CFD used 2000 gallons of water to help fight the flames. Carrollton Fire Protection District and the North Central Carroll County Fire Protection District also responded.

A Livingston County Sheriff's Deputy reported there was no one in the home at the time of the fire, and the owner had been notified.

No firefighters were injured during the fire, which left the home a total loss with very little structure remaining.
