10:18 a.m., An officer assisted the Children’s Division with an investigation in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. The investigation is continuing.

12:47 p.m., An officer was out at an address on Harvester Road in reference to an investigation of an abandoned vehicle that had been recovered earlier.

1:14 p.m., Officers checked on report of a strange odor in business buildings in the 10 block of South Washington Street. Officers were unable to detect the source of the smell.

1:47 p.m., Officers checked a report of mistreatment of a dog in the 500 block of West Mohawk. Officers were unable to locate the mistreated animal.

2:54 p.m., The school resource officer spoke with a concerned father whose daughter attends CMS. The parent was concerned that his child may be drinking.

3:00 p.m., An officer spoke with subject that gets repeated phone calls daily, requesting personal information. The officer passed along information on remedies.

3:23 p.m., An officer was out in the 200 block of Walnut Street in reference to a call of possible child abuse. The investigation is continuing.

4:04 p.m., A subject came to the police department to report theft of tools from work site in the 900 block of Cherry Street. The investigation is continuing.

4:25 p.m., A subject came to the police department with questions about officers having been at a specific location, earlier in the day. An officer spoke with them.

5:34 p.m., Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of Turner Street. The subjects were contacted and had permission to be on the property.

6:06 p.m., Officers responded to a report of subjects harassing another subject near the railroad tracks in the 10 block of Ryan Lane.

6:34 p.m., Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 1500 block of Third Street.

6:40 p.m., An officer performed a paper service in the 300 block of Mansur Street.

7:00 p.m., Officers received a parking complaint in the 1500 block of West Second Street, the officer was unable to locate any violation.

7:51 p.m., Officers responded to a complaint of a careless and imprudent driver near Third and Washington Streets. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:26 p.m., Officers responded to a business alarm in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. Officers checked building and determined it secure.

On March 13, the Chillicothe Police Department received 140 calls for service.
