3:50 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a loud music complaint in the 200 block of Jackson Street. The responsible person was contacted and turned down the music.

7:27 a.m., Officers assisted animal control in the 1100 block of Olive Street with removing a dog at the owner’s request.

7:45 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a low flying helicopter in the 100 block of Trenton Road. The helicopter was conducting tree trimming.

8:01 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a child custody complaint in the 1200 block of Webster Street. The parent was advised of options.

8:21 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up in the 2700 block of N. Washington Street. Officers did not discover an emergency.

12:28 p.m., Officers were dispatched to two dogs running-at-large in the 400 block of Walnut Street. The owner was contacted, and charges are pending.

12:38 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about a family member and property rights at the police department.

1:53 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about a property dispute in the 1400 block of Jackson Street.

1:55 p.m., School resource officer handled a juvenile incident in the 900 block of Dickinson Avenue.

2:10 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen in reference to possible peace disturbance. The incident was resolved by officers.

2:28 p.m., Officers continued an investigation in Trenton..

3:04 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen in reference to a possible fraud/scam at the police department. No report was filed at that time.

3:06 p.m., Officers took a report of forgery and stealing in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

3:07 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an illegal burn in the 200 block of Clay Street. Officers were assisted by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.

3:26 p.m., Officers recovered property in the 500 block of Jackson Street. The property was properly disposed.

4:00 p.m., Officers took a report of forgery in the 1000 block of Graves Street.. The investigation is ongoing.

4:41 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury crash in the 700 block of Webster Street.Both parties agreed to exchange information.

5:07 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1300 block of Third Street.

5:53 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a group of four to five males fighting in the area of Danner Park. Officers were advised they were just messing around on the basketball court.

6:02 p.m., Officers arrested Sierra Rose Copsey on an active arrest warrants out of Livingston County for failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to

wear seatbelt in the 600 block of Walnut St. Copsey was processed at the police department. She posted bond and was released.

7:28 p.m., Officers assisted a motorist in the area of S. Washington and Green Streets.

7:36 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a person who had been assaulted in the 2700 block of N. Washington Street. The investigation is ongoing.

8:35 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 10 block of Clay Street.

8:58 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 400 block of Calhoun Street.

9:07 p.m., Officers took a report of harassment in the 10 block of Eleventh Street. The investigation is ongoing.

9:22 p.m., Officers took a report of a burglary in the 1500 block of Springhill Street. The investigation is ongoing.

10:16 p.m., Officers observed suspicious activity at a business in the 1900 block of N. Washington Street. Officers discovered the person was there working.

11:18 p.m., Officers observed suspicious activity at a business in the 600 block of S. Washington Street. Officers contacted an employee and everything was okay.

On March 25, the Chillicothe Police Department received 124 calls for service.
