Hedrick Medical Center, in partnership with the Chillicothe R-II School District, recently offered Chillicothe Middle School and High School student athletes an opportunity to receive free sports physicals. The Missouri State High School Activities Association, commonly referred to as MSHSAA, requires student athletes in the state of Missouri to successfully pass a pre-participation physical exam.
During the two-day period of March 7-8, approximately 421 physical exams were performed at Hedrick Family Care. Providers from Hedrick Family Care who provided the physical assessments included Dean Adkins, FNP-C, Dr. Krista Clark, Carol Constant, FNP-C, Jordan Jones, FNP-C, Dr. Don Metry, Dr. Greg Miller, Dr. Ken Tan, and Ammie Wire, FNP-C.
Hedrick Family Care will also be, or has already, provided on-site physical exams at three of the area schools; Bishop Hogan Memorial School, Livingston County R-III and Southwest Livingston County R-1.
