12:08 a.m., Officers responded to the 1500 block of Locust for a domestic assault. Further investigation is to continue in this case.

6:44 a.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of Webster Street for a verbal disturbance. Officers were able to have the subjects come to a civil agreement.

8:56 a.m.., Officers responded to the 100 block of Montgomery Street for a burglary report. Officers took a report of a storage unit that had been broken into and several items stolen. Investigation is to continue in this case.

10:17 a.m., Officers responded to the 1500 block of Calhoun for an assault. Officers took an assault report that will be filed with the Livingston County Juvenile Office

11:39 a.m. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Jackson for a stealing report. Investigation is to continue in this case.

11:40 a.m., Officers responded to the area of North 65 Highway and Harvest Drive for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and vehicles only sustained minor damage.

12:22 p.m., Officers responded to the 1300 block of Washington Street for a leaving the scene accident. Investigation is to continue in this case.

1:51 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of 1st Street for a possible domestic assault. Upon arrival the subjects stated no assault had occurred.

2:06 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of Park Lane for a fire in the wooded area behind the building. The fire department had arrived and extinguished the fire.

6:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 2600 block of Shawnee Drive for a domestic assault. Officers arrested the male suspect who was fully processed and taken to the Daviess DeKalb jail were he was placed on a 24-hour hold.

7:03 p.m., Officers responded to the 1400 block of Burnham Road for a well-being check.

7:15 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of Graves Street for a well-being check. Officers could not locate the subject in question.

On April 8, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 112 calls for service.
