Marvin Holcer was honored in Jefferson City for his volunteer work with an umber of local organizations.
This year’s Lieutenant Governor’s Senior Service award winner from Livingston County is Marvin Holcer. Holcer was recognized for his service as president of the Grand River Historical Society and Museum, his work with 55 & Go, Joy Toys, area veterans, the Grand River Multipurpose Center and many other volunteer activities. The award was presented by Missouri Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe. According to a nomination form for the award, “The Lieutenant Governor’s Senior Service Award is intended to promote and highlight the positive accomplishments Missouri’s senior citizens provide their local communities.”
