Police reports for May 10 include an accident at the barricades on the Ryan Lane Bridge.

12:11 a,m., Officers responded to a residential alarm in the 400 block of Webster Street and discovered it was an accidental activation.
12:45 a..m., Reported disturbance in the 300 block of Mansur Street, which was determined to be a verbal domestic and no arrests were made.
2:57 a.m., Officer made contact with a subject that was standing outside of a business in the 2600 block of Washington Street. Subject was going to work at his place of employment.
7:20 a.m., Reported disturbance in the 800 block of Walnut Street, which was determined to be a subject with anxiety issues. There was no disturbance and no report.
7:26 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Ryan Lane at the Ryan Lane Bridge. The subject was unable to observe the barricade that had been set up, due to the sun blinding them and struck the barricade. The driver had not been aware of the closing of the bridge to vehicular traffic.
8:47 a.m., The school resource officer checked the well-being of subject in the 1400 block of Bryan Street and determined the subject was okay.
10:08 a.m., The school resource officer was in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street to investigate possible harassment, the investigation is continuing.
11:31 a.m., Officers assisted emergency services on a medical call in the 400 block of Woodrow Street.
12:33 p.m., Report of subjects in complainant’s yard in the 800 block of Walnut Street and refusing to leave. Subjects were gone on officer’s arrival and complainant will call back if they return.
12:40 p.m., An officer provided a child safety talk at Bishop Hogan Early Learning Center.
1:50 p.m., An officer spoke with an individual about possible scam over the phone with the suspect requesting personal information, they were advised not to provide their information over phone.
2:35 p.m., The subject was calling wanting to speak with an officer about issues that they were encountering with an employee and an officer spoke with them on the phone.
3:04 p.m., An officer spoke with a business in the 1000 block of South Washington Street about non-payment for merchandise, the subject was advised that it is a civil matter.
5:17 p.m., An officer recovered some illegal drugs that had been dropped in the floor of a business in the 500 block of South Washington Street. The substance will be destroyed.
6:13 p.m., Officers arrested a subject on a probation violation warrant at an address in the 1300 block of Third Street. The subject was transported to the police department, processed and transported to the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail by an officer.
6:41 p.m., Officers received a complaint of a vehicle being driven in a careless and imprudent manner in the 1100 block of Green Street, however, officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
7:56 p.m., Officers received a request to check well-being of subject in the 1400 block of Keith Street, the subject was contacted and determined to be in need of assistance for mental issue. The subject was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation.
9:02 p.m., Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 10 block of St. Paul Street, but the officer found no violation.
10:18 p.m., Request to check well-being of subject in the 300 block of Hillcrest. Subject was found to have fallen down while outside their residence and Emergency Services was called to the scene.
On May 10, the Chillicothe Police Department received 109 calls for service.
