Livingston County Commission to meet June 18

Notice is hereby given that the Livingston County Commission will conduct a meeting at 9:30 a.m., on June 18, in the Livingston County Commission Room, Chillicothe. The tentative agenda for this meeting includes: approval of minutes; 12 p.m., attend the LEPC meeting at the Livingston County Health Center; county road and bridge matters; administrative and departmental duties and any other business that is deemed necessary. Anyone wanting to meet with the County Commission should contact the County Clerk to make an appointment.

Linn County Republican Women to meet June 20

The Linn County Republican Women will meet June 20 at Captain Dan’s Steakhouse BBQ Bar and Grill. Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow at 7p.m. Eric Montagna will present the program “Visits to our Presidents’ Graves”. All are invited.

The Caring for America Project will be the Linn County Animal Shelter.

The Livingston County Commission will host the NW Regional County Commission meeting at 8:30 a.m., June 20, at 100 Elm. St.

Moon Phase Oreos at Livingston County Library

Young adults ages 13-18 are invited to the library for Moon Phase Oreos from 4-5 p.m., on June 21. Teens are welcome to enjoy this self-guided, informative event and the Oreos once completed. This program is being held in the 2nd floor program room.

The Chillicothe Area Arts Council’s annual membership meeting will be held at 5:15 p.m., on

June 25, in the downtown Chamber of Commerce building. The meeting is open to the general membership.

House of Prayer hosting “God and Country” patriotic and Gospel music/speaking

The House of Prayer Church is hosting a “God and Country” patriotic and Gospel music and speaking event at 3 p.m., June 30 at Simpson Park in the Jaycee Shelter House. Take the park’s Country Club Drive entrance. Please bring lawn chairs.
