On June 22, the Rezound! Handbell ensemble from Kansas City will perform a concert in Chillicothe at the United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Admission to the concert is free and will be underwritten by Robertson Insurance Services.

Rezound! is an auditioned community handbell ensemble located in the greater Kansas City area. Established in June 2001, the ensemble presents a lively sound blending the unique timbres of Schulmerich handbells, Petit & Fritsen bells, Malmark handchimes, Whitechapel bells and Maas-Rowe bells. Rezound! is dedicated to promoting the art and skill of English handbell ringing in performance, serving the community through varied educational endeavors, and providing the highest quality and challenging outlet for skilled ringers.

Rezound! Handbell Ensemble is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization that relies on the generosity of patrons to make possible quality concerts and educational events as they promote the beautiful and exciting art of English handbell ringing. Rezound! members and their director are all volunteers who join the ensemble to experience a high-quality and challenging outlet of musical expression. In addition, Rezound! provides educational experiences for the public throughout the metropolitan Kansas City area.

Annual performances include the Kauffman Performing Arts Center each Christmas during the Kansas City Symphony Christmas Festival.
