Townships meeting

The Livingston County Commission will meet with the Livingston County Townships at 8:30 a.m., on June 26, at 100 Elm St.

Notice is hereby given that the Livingston County Commission will conduct a meeting at 9:30 a.m., on June 27, in the Livingston County Commission Room, Chillicothe. The tentative agenda of this meeting includes: approval of minutes; county road and bridge matters; administrative and departmental duties and any other business that is deemed necessary. Anyone wanting to meet with the County Commission should contact the County Clerk to make an appointment.

Star Jar at Livingston County Library

From 4-5 p.m., on July 5, young adults ages 13-18 are invited to join the Livingston County Library for a Star Jar craft. Teens are welcome to enjoy this mason jar craft where they will utilize foil and a LED light to create stars in a jar.

Supplies are limited and will be available on first come first serve basis. This program is

Livingston County 4H and FFA Fair Truck and Tractor Pull July 5

The 2019 Livingston County 4H and FFA Fair Truck and Tractor Pull will be held starting at 6:30 p.m., on July 5 at the Livingston County Fairgrounds Litton Ag Science Center located off of Highway 190. There will be two tracks with two sleds pulling. Admission is $15, children 10 years old, and younger are free. For more information call 660-247-0354 or 247-2636.

Grand River Historical Society and Museum

Grand River Historical Society and Museum quarterly meeting at 6:30 p.m., July 9, at the Elks Lodge The evening program will be “Movie Night” - featuring movies of Chillicothe with lots of free popcorn, promising to be a fun night of movie watching for all ages. The dinner will be fried chicken with all the ‘fixings’. Cost is $10.

July meeting of the Women's Democratic Club of Livingston County

The July meeting of the Women's Democratic Club of Livingston County will be held at 6:30 p.m., on July 11 at Blackwater Restaurant and Lounge.n There will be a pulled pork sandwich dinner and the scholarship recipient will be honored.
