6:53 a.m., Commercial business alarm in the 500 block of Park Lane. The building was checked and unknown the cause of activation.
8:29 a.m., Officer gave public relations talk in 400 block Washington Street.
8:58 a.m., Complaint of abandoned bicycles and a scooter on the sidewalk in the 500 block of Elm Street, the matter was handled by officer.
9:14 a.m., Parking complaint in the 1900 block of Hoyt Drive. Handled by officer.
9:40 a.m., Officer out delivering paperwork to courthouse.
1:01 p.m., Officers received a complaint of reckless driving in the 500 block of Park Lane. Officer was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
1:54 p.m., Officer assisted emergency services on a medical call in the 600 block of West Mohawk Roa.
1:58 p.m., Officer checked reported suspicious activity near Danner Park. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle that was the source of the complaint.
3:37 p.m., Officers spoke with residents of the 100 block of East Second Street about a violation of dog running loose.
3:44 p.m., Officers checked on a suspicious person in the 700 block of Clay Street. Subject was okay.
4:57 p.m., Officer received a report of stolen registration plates from a vehicle in the 700 block of Chicago Avenue. The theft occurred sometime in the last few months.
6:25 p.m., Report of a vehicle striking a stop sign at the intersection of Broadway and Morningside Drive and leaving the scene. A description of the vehicle was obtained and investigation of the hit and run is continuing.
8:43 p.m., Officer assisted a stalled motorist at Locust and Washington Streets…vehicle cleared from the roadway….
9:13 p.m., Report of a stalled vehicle at Third and Washington Streets. Officers assisted in moving the vehicle.
On June 25, the Chillicothe Police Department received 114 calls for service.
