12:11 a.m., Officer conducted a safety check of business in the 2800 block of Grand Drive.
12:28 a.m., Officer conducted a safety check of business in the 1900 block of North Washington Street.
12:45 a.m., Officer conducted a safety check of business in the 500 block of Park Lane.
1:00 a.m., Officer called to a business in the 600 block of W. Business 36 to a report of a customer being disruptive in the business. Officer contacted a customer who had been arguing with an employee about the location of the pre-pay fuel pump sticker. The customer left the business without further incident.
8:01 a.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of North Washington Street. Driver cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
11:28 a.m., Officer spoke with a subject at the police station about an order of protection.
11:52 a.m., Officer responded to a landlord/tenant issue in the 500 block of W. Mohawk.
11:54 a.m., Officers responded to a one-vehicle injury accident at Bryan Street and Walnut Street. Officers reported a vehicle driven by Mark Gauthier struck a utility pole causing moderate damage after reportedly overcorrecting after attempting to miss striking a rabbit or squirrel. Gauthier was cited for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and no insurance.
3:26 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of North Washington Street. The driver was cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
3:54 p.m., Officer received a report of stolen license plates in the 1200 block of North Washington Street.
6:56 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop at US 65 and US 36. The driver was issued a warning for an improper turn.
7:45 p.m., Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Dorney. Officers advised the victim did not wish to cooperate with charges and only wished for the suspect to leave the residence. The suspect left residence without further incident. No signs of physical injury were observed.
8:31 p.m., Officer called to the 1700 block of Webster for a parking complaint. The officer located the owner of a vehicle illegally parked and the issue was corrected.
9:26 p.m., Officer called to a residence in the 600 block of Highland. The parent requested officers speak with juvenile child reference misbehaving.
10:33 p.m., Officer called to a business intrusion alarm in the 700 block of South Washington Street. The business was found to be secure. An employee was contacted to respond to the alarm reset.
On July 8, the Chillicothe Police Department received 93 calls for service.
