7:46 a.m., Reported mutual harassment between two parties. Officers spoke with both subjects and advised of the possibility of charges on both subjects.
8:29 a.m., Officer received a report of littering in the 1500 block of Bryan Street. Officers were unable to contact the possible suspect and the investigation is continuing.
12:16 p.m., Leaving without paying at a business in the 2600 block of North Washington. Determined to be a mistake.
1:10 p.m., Officers reported to 800 block of St. Louis Street in reference to a property dispute. Determined to be a civil matter.
2:04 p.m., Children playing in street in 400 block of Dickinson Street. Children were counseled on safety issues.
3:42 p.m., Report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Hickory Drive. One party involved was taken into custody, transported to the police department, processed for domestic assault 4th degree, cited and released.
4:17 p.m., Officer performed a motorist assist at US 65 and Business US 36.
4:22 p.m., A traffic hazard was reported in the area of Third and Washington by traffic cones being in the roadway. Officer checked and located cones, not in the roadway, actually off-road near a light pole.
6:42 p.m., Fireworks complaint in the 400 block of Elm Street, the subject was made aware of the ordinance violation.
8:14 p.m., Complaint from a subject in the 600 block of Walnut Street of subject walking by cursing at and threatening to assault them. The subject was gone on officer’s arrival, however, a description of the suspect was given. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
9:13 p.m., Parking complaint in the 400 block of Calhoun Street….situation was resolved before the officer’s arrival.
9:33 p.m., Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Ryan Lane and Washington Streets. Both operators claim to have had the green traffic signal. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
9:58 p.m., Reported suspicious acting subject at a residence in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street. Determined to be the same subject reference a previous call on Walnut Street. The subject was gone on officers’ arrival.
10:01 p.m., Commercial business alarm in the 700 block of South Washington Street. Accidental alarm activation by employee.
11:22 p.m., Resident in the 400 block of Dickinson Street having issues with the juvenile child. The subject was talked with and the parent advised to speak with juvenile authority if issues continue.
On July 10 the Chillicothe Police Department received 97 calls for service.
