Compliments to the Haney Family and his legacy lives on—Chuck Haney Field at the June Shaffer Memorial Baseball Park here in Chillicothe. Two amazing men who gave so much to the sporting world in the village we live in. And now watching their sons doing the same!!!

Yes, it was a great evening at the ball park—June Shaffer Park watching the Chillicothe Mudcats and the Ozark Generals. It was Constitution-Tribune night, alongside LifeFlight Eagle. It is a great way to hang out with your family and Bill and I were so pleased to have Harlie and Hallie and her friend Patrick hanging with us. Another tradition we cherish.

Great story from Grandmother Jeanne. Young J. W. Heil, his Mom, Beth and Grandmother Jeanne Hinkebein have returned from New York City where J. W. underwent numerous tests checking and scanning his body. After all the tests were done, they walked back to Sloan Kettering Hospital and headed to the playroom. J.W.’s doctor came in the room and talked to Beth and after a few minutes, she signaled thumbs up. Everything came out “Cancer Free”. The next set of tests will be given in September, keep J. W. in your prayers.
