12:20 a.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Washington Street. The driver was cited for failing to register a motor vehicle, no insurance and displaying license plates of another.
12:36 a.m., Officers conducted a secure check at the old stadium.
7:11 a.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop on US 65 at Coach K Road. The driver was cited for speeding.
8:16 a.m., Officer conducted a well-being check on a subject walking on US 36. The subject had just gotten off work and was walking home.
9:27 a.m., Officers conducted a well-being check on a subject in the 1200 block of Green Street. The subject was not located.
12:17 p.m., Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves to a report of theft. As a result of the investigation, Officers arrested Crystal Coughron for stealing. Coughron was processed at the police department, cited, and released pending a future Municipal Court appearance.
2:16 p.m., Officer called to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Green and Graves. No suspicious person was located.
2:57 p.m., Officer called to the 900 block of North Washington to a report of a person sitting on a bench for an extended period of time and the caller thought it was suspicious. The person was just enjoying the weather.
3:58 p.m., Officer called to the 400 block of East Bridge reference one neighbor believed it to be illegal for another neighbor to be looking out their own residential window at them, as they had placed a no trespassing sign on their tree. Officer explained to resident to put up a privacy fence if they wanted a higher expectation of privacy.
5:35 p.m., Officer responded to a report of harassment in the 1400 block of Polk. No harassment had occurred.
6:14 p.m., Officer recovered personal documents in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officer contacted the owner of documents and was advised to destroy items.
7:43 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Washington Street. The driver was arrested for driving while revoked, no insurance and defective equipment. The driver was issued citations and released pending a future Municipal Court appearance.
8:04 p.m., Officers responded to a report of burglary in the 100 block of East Bridge. No burglary had occurred.
11:05 p.m., Officer called to a private parking lot accident in the 3100 block of Litton Road. Drivers exchanged information and no report was needed.
On July 28, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 65 calls for service.
