4:56 a.m., Officers took a report of sexual assault at the police department. The investigation is on-going.

8:18 a.m., Officers conducted a well-being check in the 1400 block of Bryan St. The person was found to be okay.

9:12 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1100 block of Bryan St. Officers were unable to make contact with the owner at that time.

9:20 a.m., Officers assisted another agency in attempting to contact a citizen in the 1200 block of Easton St.

9:47 a.m., Officers conducted an escort for a local funeral home.

10:27 a.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St. The investigation is ongoing.

11:13 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St. Officers arrested a white female who was processed at the police department and released pending a court appearance.

11:50 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check in the 400 block of St. Louis Ave. Officers discovered the person was okay and it was actually a child custody disagreement.

12:45 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver on U.S. 65 Hwy. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

12:58 p.m., Officers arrested a male driver for traffic violations in the 500 block of S. Washington St. The male was processed at the police department and released pending a court appearance.

2:57 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1000 block of Graves St.

3:17 p.m., Officers removed a tree branch from the street at Dickinson Ave. and Webster St.

3:27 p.m., Officers observed an ATV operator committing traffic offenses at the Municipal Airport. The operator was cited for the violations.

5:07 p.m., Officers received several reports of a careless and imprudent driver traveling at a high rate of speed and committing other traffic violations on N. Washington St. near Park Ln. Officers later located the driver, who was arrested and processed at the police department for the traffic violations. He was released pending a court appearance.

5:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible assault and possible stolen property in the 1400 block of Alexander St. Officers discovered no assault had taken place and the property was returned to the rightful owners.

5:52 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St. The investigation is ongoing.

7:23 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 400 block of J.F.K. Ave.

8:59 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a person walking on the railroad tracks in the 100 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. Officers contacted a person in the area and they were advised to stay off of the tracks.

9:19 p.m., Officers conducted followup on an investigation at the police department. Officers arrested a female as a result of the investigation. The female was processed and released pending a court appearance.

10:34 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible stealing in the 2700 block of N. Washington St. Officers discovered no stealing had occurred.

10:34 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible violation of an ex-parte in the 1000 block of Dickinson Ave. Officers discovered there was no violation.

On Sept. 9, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 119 calls for service.
