8:15 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of an abandoned vehicle On Gilbert St.

Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault that reportedly took place in the 1500 block of Calhoun St. The incident remains under investigation.

11:36 a.m. Officers arrested Jonathan Gentile in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Livingston County probation/parole warrant. Gentile was transported to the police department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

12:01 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of an illegally parked vehicle in the 1400 block of Burnam Road. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle and it was moved.

12:18 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of littering in the 400 block of Wise St.

12:44 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing that occurred in the 1600 block of Maple St. The incident remains under investigation.

Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 500 block of 11 th Street. Officers placed a 24-hour towing notice on the vehicle.

1:11 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1300 block of Webster St. Contact was made with the owner and the vehicle was moved.

1:16 p.m. Officers transported a prisoner to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

1:17 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1600 block of Rosewood Lane. Officers were unable to contact the owner and a 24-hour tow notice was placed on the vehicle.

1:52 p.m. Officers arrested Jason Close in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Livingston County probation/parole warrant. Close was transported the police department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

2:18 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of State Street. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.

2:33 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers arrested McKenzie Riddle for stealing. Riddle was transported to the police department where she was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.

2:41 p.m. Officers were dispatched to an abandoned vehicle in the 900 block of Webster Street. The vehicle was removed by Chillicothe Truck Repair and Towing.

3:16 p.m. Officers took a report of the theft and forgery of checks. The incident remains under investigation.

5:18 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of an assault that took place in the 1000 block of Clay Street. The incident remains under investigation.

5:38 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of property damage in the 100 block of Herriman and the suspect had fled the scene. A Livingston County Deputy located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect failed to yield to the deputy for a short distance. The suspect resisted arrest and reportedly assaulted the deputy and one other officer. Deputies were assisted by Chillicothe Police Officers and Missouri State Highway Patrol.

6:29 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a peace disturbance in the 200 block of Second St. The incident remains under investigation.

6:54 p.m. Officers assisted the Street Department in moving vehicles from streets in the downtown area so that re-surfacing could be started.

7:29 p.m. Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff Deputies with prisoner security at Hedrick Medical Center due to his violent behavior.

8:31 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of E. Bridge St.

8:58 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a barking dog complaint in the 300 block of Polk Street.

9:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1500 block of Jackson Street.

On Sept. 16, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 107 calls for service.
